Is it possible there's some mod for this that could be interfering? Compare with my screenshot for example. Kit includes only aluminium caps: 2 x Landing Lights cap, 1 x Strobe Lights. For what it's worth, I haven't been able to reproduce this but I'm also not sure which state the aircraft was in during the video.Īlso, I noticed on this video that the overhead panel has significantly more wear and tear than I see in my version. Set of aluminium Airbus style switch caps. It's entirely possible that it's a sim issue and not something with the CRJ (maybe similar to control inputs not working while panning?) but it definitely doesn't look like correct behavior to me. When he releases, everything goes back to normal. While he's has right click pressed down the integral lighting, ground power lights, fuel pump lights, and packs lights all turn on and the flashlight turns off. This can be fixed by changing the mouse settings, but otherwise it's a default setting in FS.Ĭan you explain that further? That doesn't make any sense to me, but I've never modified my mouse controls. The mouse has two functions in this situation. Take a look next time you have a chance (good photo or real cockpit) and you'll see what I mean for transports.Yes, but even that is normal, if you start moving around the cockpit with the mouse pointer of a brightness knob. I can see why you were looking for the landing lights to be with the other ones. Updated Aircraft Templates (Default, JustFlight PA28, Aerosoft Airbus A32X) Added new Templates (Aerosoft PBY Catalina, Alabeo DA42, Carenado DO228, JSS Transall. On little airplanes, they're usually positioned with the other lights on the panel or sub-panel. The Yoke has a switch panel with master, alternator, avionics. After your first few flights in the real thing, you go right to them subconciously. You can see this clearly in the picture on post #7. A horizontal bar with three bumps (usually painted white) representing lights. In addition, the switch(es) have a distinctive appearance and feel. Airbus centers then on the lower or forward edge of the overhead. They're usually at the lower left (or forward left if you prefer) location on the overhead panel. It is a Plug&Fly USB module that you connect to your computer and through our 'VFHub' software it is ready to work with the 3 main flight simulation platforms. One thing you'll notice on any post 1950 or so transport aircraft is the location of the landing light switches. The SWITCHO LIGHTS is a desktop or cockpit-panel module designed to activate the aircraft lights, tank fuel selector, fuel pumps, pitot heat and De-ICE. Once again thanks for a wonderful rendition of this workhorse of the air.Īlthough it's not a true transport category airplane (it's at the top of the range for normal category at 12,500# for the -300), many of the characteristics are included. I looked in the forums to see if this was discussed before but couldn't find anything, sorry if this has been answered. And can someone give the coordinates for the location of the strobe lights in the fuselage? I usually like to put my shockwave strobe lights on aircraft without wingflex like I have in my A320, but I can't find them in the configuration file. I'm not talking about the take off animation but more on the line of the ground illumination. If there is a chance that future updates gives us some lighting like in the Airbus Extended?. The landing lights for the Otter look like default FSX aircrafts. Now, I know this is not as expensive like the A320 but I imagine that since you guys already developed the lighting technology (landing lights) for the A320 it was going to be included in this one. I was a little hasty into buying it since I already own the previous one, the previews you guys showed were great but watching videos and comments on Youtube it finished selling it for me and I'm happy with my decision. In the A320 its just a small round spot - however it is a nice light, nearly real. As a student pilot I can say that the feeling is almost like the real one. My A320 Main Panel Flood light is absolutely different from the other pictures / videos I see, and also from the Main Panel Flood Light in my 330. Let me first congratulate you on a magnificent aircraft.
